This might not be a track that released today, but it does not at all take away from the meteoric rise of Central Cee and his global smash hit ‘Which One’ with the one and only DRAKE.
If you were not familiar with how this all came to pass, allow me to enlighten you! The hip hop and dance banger in question was born from a performance by the duo for "On the Radar Freestyle” that went viral and sparked push from fans for them to do something officially!
That was about 2 years ago, but I don’t think Central Cee is complaining. The song was worth the wait and wound up being his biggest song yet.
This is evident by the fact that it’s Central Cee’s first-ever No. 1 on both the US Rhythmic Airplay and Rap Airplay charts. Getting the co-sign from Drake marks a record-extending milestone for Drizzy and a breakthrough milestone for Cench in the massive and key US market.
There’s a chemistry that works well from these two juggernauts and how their creativity reflect off each other seamlessly and smoothly. The dancehall/pop-rap combination has served both of them well in the past and it makes total sense why they went with this - knowing people will wanna dance as we go closer into the holidays. It’s about to be summer for half the world and the timing couldn’t have been more perfect.
Which One marks something special for Central Cee, a new level reached in his already stellar career, and it’s clear that his continued climb does not seem to be slowing down any time soon. I wonder which one comes after this one?
