With students, designers, and industry insiders flocking to their space, the impact was impossible to ignore.
THE WHO, WHAT & WHY
Allfashion Sourcing 2025—a three-day global sourcing expo held 8–10 July at the CTICC—drew over 150 exhibitors and thousands of textile and fashion professionals from across Africa and beyond. This premier platform, powered by Messe Frankfurt, emphasised innovation, sustainability, and collaboration, especially through its Young Designers Competition.
As a rising star in branded apparel, Tomo Tee was invited to exhibit alongside global textile icons. EIE Digital handled all booth branding—creating a stand that wasn't just eye-catching, but impossible to miss.
EVENT HIGHLIGHTS / BOOTH BRANDING
Here’s what made the Tomo Tee presence legendary:
Distinctive booth design featuring vibrant, cohesive graphics that matched Tomotex’s brand aesthetic.
Interactive textile showcases, putting spotlight on fabric quality and sustainable sourcing.
Live demos and product samples, helping visitors feel and see the craftsmanship firsthand.
A buzz-generating lounge area—perfect for informal chats, networking, and brand storytelling.
A young, curious crowd, with many students stopping by to ask questions and sign up for updates—showing real generational interest.
WHY IT MATTERS / WHAT IT MEANS FOR THE CULTURE
Allfashion Sourcing isn't just a trade fair—it’s a cultural bridge between local creativity and global opportunity. For Tomo Tee, stepping into this space meant more than marketing; it was a claim: they belong in international conversations on textile innovation.
The sea of young visitors tells a story—up-and-coming fashion professionals want access to local brands that combine craftsmanship with creativity. Tomo Tee’s booth (styled to perfection by EIE Digital) delivered on both fronts: brand identity and cultural relevance.
YOUNG DESIGNERS COMPETITION
Another highlight: the expo’s Young Designers Competition, with the winner awarded R250,000 to grow their brand and production capabilities . Even if Tomo Tee didn’t compete directly, this investment signals massive potential: young talent is getting serious financial backing.
WHAT'S NEXT / UPCOMING STEPS
With momentum from Allfashion Sourcing, Tomo Tee is poised for big moves—whether in production scale, collaborations, or future trade shows.
